While there may be many reasons to celebrate Memorial Day such as: the beginning of nice weather, the start of beach houses, the opening of pools, the beginning of grilling season, and the fact that it is a three-day weekend (woohoo), let's not forget the main reason. The main and most important reason that we are celebrating Memorial Day is to honor the soldiers who have died serving our country. So while we are enjoying the sun and our friends' company, we must remember to not forget the reason and meaning behind this holiday.
